The 2nd Aleem Uddin Qureshi District League Nawabshah will begin on 15 June 2011 at Municipal High School Ground on Sabzi Mandi Road in Nawabshah.
According to the league’s chief organising secretary Master Riasat Ali, 10 teams will take part from across District Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad) with Moment FC being hosts. Other sides taking part will be King Baloch, Young Baloch, Al-Shabaz, Shaheen Sports, Pak Sports, Baloch XI, and Adil Sports, while two more teams are negotiating their participation in the district league. The 2010 champions of the 1st Aleem Uddin District League Nawabshah were Moment FC, super league phase winners were Al-Shabaz, while Young Baloch was awarded the fair play trophy.
The league’s format will be single-league basis with top 4 teams qualifying to ‘super league’ phase. The league will be inaugurated by Syed Usman Shah, the vice president of Karachi Zonal FA East. The Nawabshah District League’s organising committee includes chairman Abdul Qadeer Kallu Qureshi, with ground incharge Jaleeluddin Qureshi. DFA Nawabshah chairman Yaqoob Baloch and secretary Muhammad Baloch have assured the organisers that the Aleem Uddin Qureshi League shall have their full backing and cooperation.
