Lahore, 21 April: Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) Ground will become tenth venue in the history of fourth edition of National Women Football Club Championship when they will stage three matches of Group B – Pool II with the participants being Fatima, Lahore Fighters and Model Town from 22-26 April 2011.
MTFA ground had already played host to 19th National U18 Championship 2007 and 11th National U13 Festival of Football 2009 and it will be first time, MTFA will organize a Women Soccer event under the banner of PFF.
MTFA President Mian Rizwan Ali thanked Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)’s President and AFC ExCo member Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for reposing confidence on MTFA, the House of Academy over 1500 kids. It will be third Women football venue at Lahore after Punjab University, Old Campus Ground on 1 Cust Road near M.A.O College and Punjab Stadium, Nishtar Complex, Ferozpur Road.
