Lahore, 19 March: Pak Fighters and Sheikhupura’s Muslim Sports booked their passage into quarter-finals of All Punjab Raiders Football Cup 2011 at Raiders Football Club Ground, Faisal Town.
Pak Fighters outkicked Young Shooters 10-9 in the sudden death period of penalty shoot out after 0-0 at full time while Muslim Sports edged out Pency FC 3-1 after down 0-1 after three minutes.
Pency were the first to take lead through winger Bilawal but from then on it was Sheikhupura all the way. Midfielder Ehtisham Ul Haq restored parity in the 16th minute and striker Kashan Ali put the visitors ahead 2-1 in the 26th minute. Muhammad Asif rounded off the tally in the 57th minute as Muslim Sports sealed the match 3-1.
