Salaar Welfare Centre FC, affiliated with Karachi Zonal FA Malir, held its general body meeting where it appointed the club’s new administrators. Former UC Nazim, Jan Muhammad Baloch presided over the meeting while former club secretary Iqbal Salaari presented annual report to the members, who expressed satisfaction with the club’s over all performance. Afterwards, the members of the meeting unanimously agreed to appoint new position holders at clubs for the next 2 years.
Jan Muhammad Baloch became President, Iqbal Salaari became Chairman, Anwar Baloch became Vice Chairman, Shahid Taj the new secretary, Fareed Baloch became Treasurer, Qadir Bakhsh became captain while Abdus Salam became vice captain. The new appointees vowed to perform their respective duties properly in the interest of the club and will strive to bring success to Salaar Welfare Centre FC in upcoming football challenges across Karachi.

On occasion of Pakistan Day on 23 March 2011, Korangi Gymkhana Ground in Korangi will host a friendly game between Korangi Gymkhana and Burma Mohammadan at 5 PM. Korangi Gymkhana’s secretary Waseem Arif stated that Landhi Town administrator Nauman Arshad will be chief guest for the game and will present trophies to the winning and losing sides as well as prizes at the end of the game.
