Hamara Karachi 7-side: Young Muslim, Aga Khan Gymkhana get to QFs

The National Soccer Academy Ground (Paposh, North Nazimabad) hosted two more games of the Hamara Karachi 7-side Football Festival Tournament. Young Muslim (Orangi Town) beat Jahangir Memorial (Zone Central) 2-1 to qualify for the quarter finals where they will face hosts National Soccer Academy. Murad Ali Shah scored both goals for Young Muslim, while Hameed Afridi (also of Young Ansari in KFL) scored for Jahangir Memorial.

In the other game, played under floodlights, Aga Khan Gymkhana beat Young Rasheedabad (Baldia Town) 4-2 to go through to next round where hey will face Baloch Youth Garden in quarter-finals. Ibrar Haji gave AKG the lead after 5 minutes which was levelled by Bilawal in 15th minute. Azeem gave AKG a 2-1 lead in 23rd minute, followed by a goal from Bakhtash (38′) and another from Azeem (44′) making it 4-1. Azhar scored a consolation goal for Young Rasheedabad 2 minutes before final whistle, making the score 4-2 in favour of Aga Khan Gymkhana.

Referee was Habib Ullah while match commissioner was Abdul Karim (Member Central Zone).

Both the teams moved into quarter final where Young Muslim face National Soccer while Aga Khan Gymkhana compete with Baloch Youth Garden
