Dadu hosts friendly commemorating 23 March

Youm-e-Pakistan 23 March 2011 was celebrated with football in Dadu District of Sindh. On the recommendation of Shoaib Siddiqui, Youth Affairs Secretary in Sindh Sports Board, DFA Dadu and District Youth Affairs Dadu organised a football friendly game.

Degree College Ground, Dadu hosted the friendly played between Pak Sports (Nawabshah) and Shaheed Makhdoom FC (Dadu). Both teams displayed good football skills but the game finished 0-0 after final whistle. However the Chairman of DFA Dadu, Ali Haider Jamali, gave the visitors from Nawabshah the honorary win. Pak Sports’ Naqash and Sattar and Shaheed Makhdoom’s Rashid caught the eyes of the spectators throughout the game.

After the game, the chief guest Khalid Hussain Ghallo (District Sports & Youth Affairs, Dadu) presented Pak Sports with honorary winner’s trophy with a Rs 3,000 award to Pak Sports captain Rizwan and manager Master Riasat, as well as giving prizes to all players who took part. Hosts team captain Rashid of Shaheed Makhdoom FC and his team were given consolation prizes.

The Chief Guest also spoke about the importance of football promotion in Dadu District and thanked DFA Dadu chairman Ali Haider Jamali for his efforts. He also vowed to cooperate for future football events in the region.
