Lahore, 20 March: Two second half goals propelled Afshan FC into quarter-finals of All Punjab Raiders Football Cup 2011 at Raiders Football Club Ground, Faisal Town. They will face Model Town FC in the Quarter-finals on 23 March, the day when Pakistan face India in AFC Challenge Football Cup tie.
Afshan FC held upper hand over the rivals Jabbar Friends and opened through spearhead Majid Khan Jr. in the fifth minute of second half. After 18 minutes, winger Muhammad Aqib made it 2-0 when he went through whole defence to consolidate the lead.
