In a very interesting match today in the premises of the FAME Football CLub Lahore ground. FAME FC won match against WAHDAT FC 3-1.
It was a very interesting match with action in both halves of the beautiful FAME FC pitch. In the first half Mobi Anwar missed couple of chances on 1 on 1 and and FAME Mid-Fielder and President Zia sb. hit the bar twice of the opponent goal post.
Against the run of the play WAHDAT FC scored first goal due to misunderstanding between the FAME defence. But FAME came back very strongly after the first change When ANJUM SHUMAIL, former national player, came onto the pitch and made a lot of nice moves and finally FAME FC scored their first goal when he smashed the ball into the back of the WAHDAT FC net.
In the second half FAME FC again made a lot of attempts on the goal and scored two goals virtue two well taken shots by young star Usman Virk and the brilliant Umair Anwar. Fame was seen in a true spirit for their game today when every one was encouraging each other and focused on the victory. WAHDAT FC put a disciplined lion-hearted effort in but could not prevent the loss.
Next games of FAME FC are on the 7th and 9th of January. They are well on the way to topping the DFA League B and going into the DFA League A! We wish all the clubs participating best of luck for their coming games.
