Lahore, 18 Jan : Three-day trials to select PMC Athletico Club Faisalabad U13 Football team for coming 13th National U13 Festival will be held on three venues.
Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) will stage the event in February and the players, born on or after 1 January 1998, are eligible for the Trial as well as competition. Sahiwal will act as defending champions who clinched 12th National U14 Festival of Footballat Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium on 9 March 2010, beating NWFP on tier breaker. PMC Athletico Faisalabad is one of the foremost football clubs in Pakistan and will appear for the fourth time in Pakistan Premier League later this year.
To make sure the best young talent is scouted and selected from the region for the U-13 festival the club is organizing three-way open trials from 2.30 to 5 PM at three venues. According to Club’s President Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti, PMC U13 team will be comprised of former Pakistani coach Haroon Yousaf as Head Coach and Farrukh Gill as Assistant Coach while Muhammad Sarfraz has been appointed as manager of the team.
The trails will be held under aegis of DFA’s of the district and Haroon will attend all the trials at Quaid e Azam Cinema Ground, Mandi Baha Uddin (21 Jan), Jang Road , 68 JB Football Ground, Faisalabad (22 Jan) and Railway Ground, Faisalabad (23 Jan). SAG Games Gold Medallist Rana Zahir Ahmed (Navy) will also attend Jang Road trials.
All the players are being asked to report with (i) Birth Certificate (ii) Original School Certificate mentioning Date of Birth (iii) Original NADRA Form-B (iv) three recent attested photographs.
