Lyari Town rout Bela 4-0 in their first game in PFF-KESC Lyari Football League 2011

Lahore, 12 Jan: Lyari Town made short work of Balochistan’s Bela 4-0 on Wednesday in Group D of PFF-KESC Lyari Football League 2011 at Kalakot’s Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park, Lyari Town, Karachi. The winners were 3-0 up at interval.

Bela’s defence failed to resist Muneer Ahmed’s fine display who led Pakistan in AFC U14 Festival of Football at Al Quids Stadium in Hamedan City, Iran last year. Muneer struck twice in the 21st and 28th minute while midfielder Zohaib Nisar also earned a brace, striking the ball past Bela keeper in the 27th and 51st minute.

The match was supervised by Ansar Javed under Match Commissioner Yaqoob Baloch. The assistants were Farid Ahmed, Muhammad Yasin and Muhammad Jalal.

Earlier, Agra Taj and Balochistan’s Uthal were involved 0-0 in Group-C match with Uthal’s defender Muhammad Irfan getting Man of the Match award.
