The All-Karachi Hussain Baloch Benefit Memorial Football Tournament at Old Thana Ground, Malir witnessed 4 teams go through to the quarter finals stage of the event according to organising secretary Rafique Baloch.
Tournament hosts Malir National beat Baloch Union (Zone West) 1-0 through a goal from Shahenshah. Sajidi Mohammadan (Zone East) beat Baloch Youth Malir 2-1 with a brace from Malik while Amir scored lone goal for losing side.
Jam XI Malir beat District West champions Mauripur Azad 2-0 with goals from Imdad and Razzaq. Malir Shaheen beat Baloch Mohammadan Malir 4-2 on penalties after 0-0 at end of normal time. Zakir, Zahir, Rizwan, and Ameen converted for Malir Shaheen while only Latif and Imran could do so for Baloch Mohammadan.
Match referees were Abdul Latif, Umar Naseer, Abdul Ghani, Muhammad Saleem, and match commissioner was Master Abdul Rahim with media coordinator was Khalid Majeed.
