Malir Centre finally earned a much-awaited first win in the 2010 Karachi United Youth Football League when they scored 6 goals past hapless North Karachi at Jam Stadium, Malir. Man of the match Salman scored twice while Sanaullah, Uzair, Fahim, and Waqar scored one apiece. The result leaves Malir Centre on 4 points from 5 games, while North Karachi still bottom with 0 points from as many games. This was the 12th game of KUYFL 2010 so far.
Malir dominated the game from start as they tormented North Karachi goalkeeper Fahad for the whole match. Malir strikers Salman and Uzair gave their side a 2-0 lead within 10 minutes, while Sanaullah made it 3-0 just before half time. In 2nd half, Malir continued their attacks as Salman scored his second and Malir’s fourth in 31st minute while Fahim (38th min) and Waqar (41st min) completed the 6-0 rout against North Karachi. Ali Raza and Hassan Raza had the chance of reducing the deficit for North Karachi in closing stages but could not find the back of the net as the game finished.
