Hosted by Malir National FC at Old Thana Ground Malir, the All-Karachi Muhammad Hussain Baloch Memorial Benefit Football Tournament witnessed 4 more matches being decided in Round of 64 according to organising secretary Rafique Baloch. The winning sides qualified to Round of 32. Gharib Nawaz Dalmia stunned Malir District’s renowned Baloch Mujahid Ibrahim Hyderi 3-1 thanks to a brace from 360 Football League 2009 top scorer Saeed Baloch and one from Zubair Ahmed while Baloch Mujahid’s lone scorer was Nabi Bakhsh.

KASB Premier League 2004 champions Lyari Labour Welfare Centre sneaked past Gulshan Ittehad Korangi 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Muhammad Imran. Azam Sports Drigh Road beat current 360 League champions Sharafi Muhammadan Malir 4-1 in penalty shootout after 0-0 score at end of normal time. Furqan, Saleem, Kamran and Irfan converted their tries for Azam while only Yousuf could do for Sharafi. Hazara Mohammedan Shah Faisal beat Young Bilal Landhi also on penalties 5-4 after a 0-0 scoreline. Alam Zeb, Shakeel, Saifullah, Wajid and Afzal converted for Hazara Mohammedan while Khalil, Wahid, Tanveer, and Awal Sher could only find the back of the net.

Referees for the games were Naseer Ahmed, Muhammad Saleem, Nabi Bakhsh, Muhammad Arif and Abdul Ghani while match commissioner was Master Abdul Rahim and media coordinator Khalid Majeed.

The semis and final of the All-Karachi Izhar Khan & Javed Shaheed Football Tournament will be held between 24-26 Dec 2010 at Young Muslim FC home ground in Orangi Town. The first semi-final on 24th features Shahbaz Green Banaras and Parvana Sports Old Golimar while on 25th the hosts Young Muslim face Orangi Muhammadan (4 PM Kickoff) in second semi. The winners will then clash in the final on 26th Dec. Saifuddin Khalid, member of Sindh Provincial Assembly from Orangi Town, will be chief guest for the occasion along with Eng. Ibrahim Baloch, vice chairman Sindh FA.

National football organiser Master Riasat Ali lost his 25 year old niece because of complications during her one month treatment for brain tumour at a public hospital in Karachi. The deceased body has been shifted for burial in her native Nawabshah. The Karachi football community incl various Zonal FA chiefs, referees, and journalists expressed their condolences for the loss of Master Riasat’s young relative.
