Former Pakistan football captain Ghulam Rabbani died

Lahore, 11 December : Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)’s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, Secretary General Lt.Col ® Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi, Director Marketing Sardar Naveed Haider, Director Operation Wng Cmdr ® Pervaiz Saeed Mir, MTFA President Mian Rizwan Ali, NNTFA President Abdul Rasheed Khan, Pakistan Veteran Cricket Association (PVCA)’ Chief Executive Officer Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, Sayid Paper Mills Head Aizad Sayid, expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Pakistan football team captain Sheikh Ghulam Rabbani.

He was PFF Selection Committee member as well as helping launch the PIA football team in late 60s. He represented Pakistan and Pak Mughal FC from 1953 to 1962. He also won National Championship for Punjab four times in 50s

His funeral will take palce after Namaz Zuhar on Saturday, 11 December, at F-1, 183/2, Martin Quarters,Sunheri Masjid , Karachi.

PFF, PVCA and SPM offered its condolences to Rabbani’s family. They prayed that Allah, the Merciful may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience and solace to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
