The 8th Karachi Football League 2010-11 organised by Karachi United FC entered its 4th day as it witnessed the Group ‘A’ clash between two Zone West teams Baloch Youth Garden and Orangi Mohammadan at Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi. Baloch Youth outclassed Orangi 5-0 with man of the match right winger Sarmad Jaffar scoring twice in first half while Salamuddin, Talal Ayub, Tahir Jaffar score one goal each. Baloch Youth earned 3 valuable points with this win.
The youthful squad of Baloch Youth Garden dominated their opponents from start to finish as they went 3-0 up inside the opening 20 minutes. Sarmad Jaffar scored twice in 6th and 12th minute while Salamuddin made it 3-0 in 20th minute. In second half, Orangi Mohammadan’s strike force of Muhammad Javed, Hafiz Waqar, Hafiz Fawad, and Ghulam Haider tried to reduce the deficit but could not find the net with their chances. Orangi captain Ibrar Hussain’s two shots were dealt with ease by Baloch Youth goalkeeper Bilal Hameed. In 63rd minute, Talal Ayub scored past Orangi goalie Irfan Khan from the penalty spot to make it 4-0. Tahir Jaffar eventually made it 5-0 in 80th minute to cap off the dominance of Baloch Youth Garden in the game. The referee was Babar Khan.
Chief Guest for this game was Secretary Zone West and Chairman of the Karachi Football League organising committee Rahim Bakhsh Baloch. Also present were former Secretary Zone West Maula Bakhsh, Dr Hameed, member Zone Central Abdul Karim, Saleem Arif, Abid Raza, Master Ghulam Rasool, and veteran football journalist Riaz Ahmed.
There wont be any game on 31 Dec 2010, but two games will be held on New Years Day 2011 (1st January) in which Shahbaz Green (Zone West) will face defending champions Chanesar Blue (Zone East) at 3:30 PM while hosts Baloch Mujahid will face Orangi Mohammadan at 5:30 PM.
