Hosted by Malir National FC at Old Thana Ground Malir, the All-Karachi Hussain Baloch Memorial Benefit Football Tournament witnessed three more matches being decided according to organising secretary Rafique Baloch.
Malir Red beat Lasbela Students West 2-0 thanks to goals from Farhan and Hafeez. Malir Shaheen’s star striker Zakir Baloch scored the lone goal of the game as they beat Baloch Fighter 1-0. FC Arora (Central Zone) beat Young Boys Malir in an exhilarating 4-3 encounter. FC Arora’s goalscorers were Mohsin, Rahim, Jahangir, and Sanaullah while Young Boys’ goalscorers were strikers Zafar, Sajid, and Haq Nawaz.
The winning sides qualified for Round of 32 in the tournament. The referees for these matches were Nabi Bakhsh, Abdul Latif, Muhammad Saleem, and Abdul Ghani while match commissioner was Naseer Ahmed.
