Young Muslim FC striker Mama Abdul Qadir scored twice in second half as he helped his side overcome Faqir Muhammadan to reach the semi-finals of the All-Karachi Izhar Jan (Bhaiya) & Javed Shaheed Football Tournament held at Mini Stadium in Orangi No.5 area. The game was a tense 0-0 at half time. However just after the restart, Mama Abdul Qadir scored from a cross by right winger Muhammad Khalil. Just two minutes before the end Mama Abdul Qadir made it 2-0 for Young Muslim from a great pass from midfielder Sagheer. Referee was Daad Rehman while match commissioner was Khalid Ashraf.
The semi-finals will be staged after Eid-ul-Adha break with hosts Young Muslim FC taking on Purana Golimar’s Pervana Sports while Shahbaz Green Banaras taking on Orangi Muhammadan.
