FootballPakistan.com Lahore Correspondents Zaka Ahmad Gondal and Gauhar Mahmood Azeem caught up with one of the most decorated coaches in PPL history, Wapda Head Coach Khalid Butt. In the interview he talks about the current state of Pakistani Football, tells us how he thinks it can be improved and who is responsible for all this and more.
Off the camera he also asked us to highlight the fact that despite being so successful and experienced, he was forced to convey team orders from the stands up till now in the PPL because he did not possess a C license. But as he has played 20 international games for Pakistan he qualified for an honorary C license that he will now receive. He was very hurt on the episode and thinks that he shouldn’t have been treated like this and it was great mismanagement that this was let to happen. He is glad it is sorted out and over with now though.
He was seen on the touch line in the WAPDA vs ARMY game where his tactics didn’t let ARMY break the watermen down and thus WAPDA edged towards another PPL title.
