Old Thana Ground Malir witnessed five more matches decided in the All Karachi Hussain Baloch Memorial Benefit Football Tournament hosted by Malir National FC in Malir Zone. According to tournament organising secretary Rafique Baloch, Malir Shaheen beat Hassan Memorial Malir 3-1. Malir Shaheen’s goalscorers Muhammad Zakir scored a brace and Arif while Musa scored consolation goal for Hassan Memorial. Malir Star beat Mansehra Star with a similar 3-1 scoreline with a goal from Imran and a brace from Lal Muhammad, while Asif scored the lone goal for Mansehra.
Lal Sports Dalmia beat Kalmat Star Malir by a resounding 4-1 margin. Yasir scored twice for Lal Sports while Irfan and Habib scored once each for the victors. Farooq scored only goal for Kalmat Star. Hunter Sports Landhi sneaked past Young Khokhrapar 1-0 thanks to lone goal from Saleem Baloch. Ismail Memorial Malir beat Malir Centre 1-0 thanks to a goal from striker Sharif. Meanwhile, Shafi XI Malir beat Khokhrapar Star 8-7 in penalty shoot out after the game finished 0-0 in regular time.
Match referees for these games were Nabi Bakhsh, Muhammad Saleem, Abdul Ghani and Ghafoor Maliri while match commissioner was Master Abdul Rahim.
