Al-Hilal FC make unimpressive debut in PFF League

Lahore, 27 November : Al Hilal FC failed to make impressive debut in Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) League 2010 (Club Phase) when they lost 0-2 to Afghan Sports Quetta in Round One (Group-B) at Govt MC High School Ground, Arifwala.

Al Hilal FC will now face Islamabad’s Ravi FC on 29 November while Afghans collide with Ravi on 1 Dec at same field of Arifwala.

The Champions of departmental and club event will earn slot in 2011’s Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL), replacing two relegated team who finished 15th and 16th berth in PPFL 2010. The Winner of Department Leg will face Winner of Club Leg on 20 December 2010 Monday at 2.30 PM to decide overall champion.

With Muhammad Hassan in fine keeping under the bar, Afghan Sports struck twice in last 13 minutes to beat host Al Hilal FC 2-0. Winger Zahoor Ahmed opened the scoring in the 77th minute and striker Muhammad Arif turned the second in the 88th minute.
