On the directives of Sindh Provincial Sports Minister Dr Muhammad Ali Shah, the Sindh Secretary Sports Shoaib Siddiqui announced the formation of an All-Sindh Inter-regional Football Championship on 8th October 2010. In this tournament, teams from all the five major regions of Sindh will take part.
For Sukkur region team trials, the District Sports Officer Abdul Hameed Rajput has appointed a 5 member committee for its proper supervision and selection of players on 4th November 2010 at the District Stadium Sukkur. The committee includes Master Riasat (Nawabshah), Abdul Hameed Khan, Yameen Abrrho (Khairpur), Imdad Ali Shah, and Zahid Saeed (Sukkur).
Upon selection of the required 16 member Sukkur region team, the players and the team’s coach and manager will depart on 6th November for Karachi to participate in the Inter Regional Tournament. A circular issued from the District Sports Officer has urged all interested players from Sukkur region to show up at the trial venue on the correct date and time for its smooth running.
