KARACHI: National footballers are very happy with the arrival of consultant Graham Roberts and are enjoying his association during the camp being held in Lahore in connection with the preparations for the Asian Games slated to be held in China next month. Team sources told ‘The News’ that former English player Graham is a jolly figure and does not keep distance with the players.

“His company is a blessing for us as we are enjoying every moment with him,” a player told ‘The News’.

“We are very much impressed with the attitude of Graham and we feel extra easy under him and I believe that we will learn a lot from his experience,” another player said.

Meanwhile, the head coach of Pakistan football team Akhtar Mohiuddin said that the players needed someone who could motivate them and he thinks that Roberts, having a good stature in English football circle, will be able to do the job.

“He is with us for the last two days and I personally feel comfortable with him and I hope that we will build a good coordination for the betterment of the team,” Akhtar said.
