Hosted by Moment FC, the league round of the Aleem Uddin Memorial District Football League Championship Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad) came to an end. The top 4 ranked teams our of the 7 teams taking part will now play in semi-finals after the commencement of 21 scheduled league matches at Municipal High School Ground, Nawabshah.
Al-Shahbaz beat Adil Sports 3-0 thanks to goals from Murtaza, Qayyum, and Mubeen Sarwar. District champions Young Baloch beat King Baloch 2-0 thanks to goals from Fida Hussain and Ali Baloch. Young Baloch later on also beat minnows Adil Sports 4-0 in their last league round game thanks to goals from Shahid Baloch, Hafeez Baloch, Zahid Afridi and Irshad Ahmed.
Hosts Moment FC topped the league round with 11 points, followed by Young Baloch on 10 points, followed by Shaheen Sports and Al-Shahbaz both on 9 points to finish off the top 4 spots for semis. Pak Sports finished 5th on 8 points, King Baloch came 6th on 7 points, while whipping boys Adil Sports finished bottom with 0 points after losing all of its league round games.
The first semi-final will be played on 27th October between Al-Shahbaz and Young Baloch, while Moment FC will face Shaheen Sports in the second semi-final on 29th October. The final will be played on 31st October, scheduled to be attended by Secretary of the Sindh FA, Qamar Yar Khan as chief guest.
