LDFRA congratulates Faisal Saleh Hayat for becoming PFF President again

27 June 2007 Lahore, 27 June : A meeting of Lahore District Football Referee Association (LDFRA)’s was held today during which all the office-bearers appreciated the crystal elections of Pakistan Football Referees Association (PFRA) and hoped that new body will enhance the referees activities in Pakistan and they would try to improve the standard of referees in this part of the world.LDFRA’s President Akhwanzada Essa Khan and General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Islam and other office-bearers have also congratulated Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for retaining post as Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)’s President for the term 2007-11. Essa said that PFF President is taking tangible steps in boosting football among Pakistani men and women and due to his efforts Pakistan is now most successful nation of SAF Games’s history with four golds. “the step of bringing three matches of 14th Asian Cup last year three and matches of 29th Olympic Games Football this year onto Pakistani soil will be ever remembered in Pakistan’s soccer history and Faisal Saleh Hayat played a major role in it. His ambition to see FIFA, AFC and International Olympic Association (IOC)’s show-piece event in Pakistan brings excitement to soccer enthusiasts in this part of the world,” added Essa Khan who was FIFA Referee in mid 90s.Islam, also father of international players Muhammad Ahmed (U19), Muhammad Salman (U13), said that four-year reign of Faisal Saleh Hayat was something special from 2003-2007 and he deserved re-election. He is busy in lifting Pakistan’s status in world of football with dynamic leadership. In addition, PFF chief doing fine job for Pakistani footballers, administrator, coaches and referees. His decisions will put Pakistan to its deserving spot in future.
