Leisure Leagues continue at Ayub Park

The first season of Leisure Leagues, powered by World Group and the Trunkwala Family has now gathered pace as the participating teams head into a crucial phase of the Total Football Sunday League.

With 4 matches already played this season, Red Devils, one of the most successful teams at amateur level in Islamabad, are already looking like champions. Buoyed by the experience of captain Sameer Hussain, the Men in Red would be looking to add to the 21 goals they have already scored this season.

On second place, Net Busters FC will be looking to continue breathing down the necks of the table toppers. Net Busters are yet to lose a game this season and will be looking to add another win to their account when they take on 3rd place Phantom FC who may not boast a lot of experience but have shown a lot of heart so far this season.

Emirates FC are definitely on the rise after managing to shake of two consecutive defeats. They face off with MFC in their fifth game of the campaign with the affair likely to be an openly contested once since both teams have shown this season that attack is the right way to defend.

As things stand, Chevy lie in 8th place in the league standings but do not be fooled by their current standing. Hassam Abbasi’s team boasts a young yet very talented squad that gave a great performance against the juggernaut that is Red Devils a couple of weeks back. As they take on Rebels FC, Hassam and co would be eager to register a win that would be their second of the season.

After scoring four goals past MFC in their previous outings, Injustice FC have shown that their current position in the table is not a true reflection of their potential. The game against Emirates will be a tightly contested affair and it could prove to be a low scoring one for that matter.
