KARACHI: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) women wing chairperson Rubina Irfan has been appointed as member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) women’s football committee for 2015 to 2019, the PFF said in a news release on Wednesday.
Rubina thanked AFC president Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa and the AFC Executive Committee members for her appointment.
“It will provide an opportunity to me to play a productive role in the development of women football in Asia,” Rubina was quoted as saying.
