Pakistan jumped up to 171 from 188 in the latest FIFA Rankings following their last-gasp win over Afghanistan in Lahore on 6th February.
As a result of their moving up, the Pak Shaheens are also above their World Cup qualifying opponents Yemen, who stand at 179, whilst Pakistan are tied with India at 171.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan fell down to 144 as Maldives leads the SAFF pack at a very respectable 135.
