The month-long 4th Naujawan FC Football Tournament in Chitral ended with the final played between two teams from nearby Jughur village, Headquarter FC and Humqadam FC.
After a 1-1 scoreline at end of normal and extra time periods, Headquarter Club prevailed 5-3 in penalty shoot-out to win the tournament trophy. Three former national players Haji Abdul Qayyum, Naseer Ahmed, and Shaukat Ali were chief guests alongside DFA Chitral president Hussain Ahmed as they handed out trophies to the finalist teams.
A total of 56 clubs from across Chitral district took part in the Naujawan Tournament, organised by Chitral’s Naujawan FC.
