Pakistani-Danish defender Nabil Aslam has joined Denmark 1st Division side AB as he aims to make a return to professional football after some months on the sidelines.
The talented centre-back, who has already expressed interest in representing Pakistan, has prior Danish Superliga and UEFA Europa League experience with AC Horsens and signed with AB after trying to move to Asia.
Nonetheless, Nabil is delighted to return to action and the coaching staff at AB are equally eager to have on board.
“We tried to sign Nabil earlier, but there were many challenges. But now he is here and that suits us perfectly. Nabil has plenty of top-flight experience at a high level but still has the hunger and ambition to move forward with the team,” said manager Thomas Nørgaard while talking to ab-fodbold.dk.
