All Stars and Galacticos complete the line up – Quarters Previewed

1- Majid Shaheed Vs All Stars
All stars win 2-0.
Round of 16

All Stars produced an absolute master class. Tough in defense, quick on the counter and deadly on the finish as they won 2-0. For long periods it looked like Majid Shaheed will score but superb covering from Awais Ali Bozdar and Saeed Riad kept Pakistan Star M. Bin Younis in check and Shahrukh Khattak scored the all important first goal. It was fairly comfortable in the end thanks to a red card for Majid Shaheed.

2- Galacticos Vs Juvenile
Galacticos win 4-2
Round of 16

Juvenile were definitely the sharper side. They lead early 2-1 thanks to Abdul Fattah scoring twice. Galacticos were lucky to be level 2-2 at half time after being outplayed. The second half saw the introduction of Mudassir Azlan de King who scored the 3rd and Raahim Ali stormed forward to produce a few amazing runs. The defense held its own and Raahim sealed it with his late penalty.

Quarter Finalists – The Battles

1- DID FC Vs Street Wizards (July 21 11pm)

DID FC – Scored 13 goals, the fast paced defending champs are looking stronger this year. Favorites for the big prize DID FC look confident.

Street Wizards – The defense is looking stronger and offense very fast paced. Can they cause the biggest upset.

Key Battle – Abdul Rehman is the key man with 8 goals. This year he is scoring at a rate that he is sure to win the double prize of top scorer and player but on the other hand is Skill king of Karachi Imran Bin Imam.

Sleepers – Abid is the vital difference maker for Street Wizards, but Usman Khan (last year player of the year) is an assist machine and Asad Ahmed is the rock at back for DID FC.

2- Bafana Vs Santos (July 21 1145pm)

Bafana – History, Pace and Desire defines this team. They are looking stronger with experience and are favorites for the big prize as well.

Santos – A strong backing from the club FC Rovers means this squad is brimming with talent. Long admirers of the title have looked sharp and shaky at the same time.

Key Battle – No Denying this is the battle of Irfan Junejo  vs Kashif Mehmood. Both players with blistering pace and shots.

Sleepers – Talha who plays as last men for Santos has been in great form but Kashif Ali a top registered player is the engine behind Bafana.

3- All Stars Vs Blue Navy (July 22 11pm)

All Stars – The best Futsal team in Gulshan wants this award the most. Sharp, Quick and good in finishing this is the perfect Futsal team.

Blue Navy – Amazing journey by the Qualifiers. Young, and Fighting Blue Navy is looking to continue its run.

Key Battles – Shahrukh Khattak, king og Futsal scoring charts vs Jahanzaib the lone scoring threat for Blue Navy.

Sleepers – Saeed Riad is in form of his life in defense and attack and Raamis is an exciting player for Blue Navy who is looking for exposure but needs a performance to back it up.

4- Galacticos Vs Gunners (July 22 1145 pm)

Galacticos – Year after year this team finds it in somewhere to reach the later stages. Do they have one more push this year??

Gunners – Strongest team after DID FC and will look to steam roll into the semis yet again.

Key Battles – Ali of Gunners has been one of the best players of the tournament, but Mudassir the GSC captain is really putting it all in.

 – Talal Ayub scores for fun, and Raahim Ali is the stopper for Galacticos.
