FPDC Stories: Mansoor Khan,”I hope football in Pakistan grows.”

I started my football career when I was in the 8th standard I am from Shiekhupura. I used to played for my school national model high school. But i really want to play for big club or national team. So one day I came to know about club Muslim Sports Club SKP one day I was playing a friendly match in this clubs ground, so Mr. Javed Butt, the assistant coach of that time asked me to join. So i was very happy and I am very thankful to Mr. Naeem Haider who encouraged me.

It looks like that i am going to do something good in football and i am also very lucky that i played with best team of Muslim Club SKP; including Adnan, Kashid, Naveed, Aslam, Usman, Arif.  We also played Punjab games in 2007 and lost the final against PMC. But after that we played a lot in all over Punjab with almost all Pakistan super stars. I still remember that match when i played against Muhammad Adil and Rizwan Asif, they are very good.

And then i joined the Pakistan camp in 2011 for the India-Pakistan series, but it didn’t happen. That was great time for me. I still remember my first goal from Muslim Club SKP. Now i am in UK, but still I am still in contact with Adil and Kaleem.  I hope footbaall grows in Pakistan and hats off to FootballPakistan for the coverage they are giving.
