PFF Media Brief – Shahid Khokhar
A Media Briefing was held at PFF Secretariat Lahore to explain the
features and objectives of the event. General Secretary PFF Lt. Col Retd.
Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi addressed the media briefing jointly with the
President Punjab Football Association Mr. Arshad Khan Lodhi.
The General Secretary PFF Mr. Lodhi said that in the prevailing security
environment, this women football event will not only help to promote women
football but shall help to keep women youth busy in healthy sporting
activities and promote soft image of Pakistan in the world. We are always
thankful to FIFA and AFC for their prominent support for organizing the
women football in Pakistan and PFF is fully committed to promote women
football at all levels in Pakistan.
At this occasion he praised Punjab Football Association for taking the
role of co-hosting Final Round of 9th National Women Football Championship
being organized from 4 December – 9 December at Punjab Football Stadium
featuring 8 teams who have qualified to play the quarter final stage
matches out of 16 Participating women football teams.
Later on Manager’s Meeting of the Participating Teams was also held at PFF
Secretariat.
