A double by Abdul Hafeez either side of a strike by Youth International Zainil Abedeen and a late goal by Amjad Anjum put Korangi Baloch on 13 points from 5 games, one ahead of Kalri Star who have played two games more.
In another match, FC Rovers registered their first win of the competition, beating Karachi United FC 4-1 to move level with their oppoenents on foru points.
After barren first half, FC Rovers outclassed Karachi United made 4 goals, Irfan Jenejo took lead in the 51st minute by penalty kick and Abdul Rehman doubled the lead in 65 minutes. Shahrukh Chaudhry reduced the margin for Karachi United by converting penalty kick in the 77 minute. FC Rovers striker Waqar Hussain scored 85 minute and Salman 89 minutes complete the tally 4-1.
