ISLAMABAD – Young Rising Star girls continued their brilliant form as they thrashed HEC 4-0 in the 8th National Women Football Championship match here at Outer Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex on Tuesday, 2 Oct 2012.
Nida Hashim scored a brace for the winners. She scored her first goal in the 25th minute to put her team ahead and then again scored in the 33rd minute. Bushra Jamali then added the third goal in the 35th minute, Sehr Zaman completed the score line in the 88th minute.
In the second match Islamabad rout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 10-1. Abeeha was the star of the show as she scored four goals including a hat-trick. Nawal, Nadia Bhatti, Asma, Mizgan and Muneeza were other key players for the winners. In the third match, Army beat Sindh 7-0. Army’s top scorer Roshnan Ali scored a hat-trick while Malka Noor added a brace while Sana Gul and Arwa completed the score line for the winners.
In the fourth and last match of the day, Lahore School of Economics girls edged out AJK 2-1. Batool and Raina scored for LSE while Fizla netted the consolation for AJK.
