KARACHI: Army were held to a goalless draw by Police in their 8th PPFL match at the Municipal stadium in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
Meanwhile, PTV and University FC Faisalabad registered convincing wins in their 2nd Division PPFL matches.
PTV emerged as 3-0 winners against Railway at the Jinnah football stadium in Islamabad.
All the goals came in second half as Hazrat Hussain broke the deadlock in the 74 minute.
Eight minutes later, Razaullah doubled the lead while he completed his brace and a perfect win scoring in the last minute of the match.
Meanwhile, University FC Faisalabad defeated Young Blood FC Sahiwal 3-1 at Rai Ali Nawaz football stadium in Sahiwal.
Mohamamd Rahat scored a couple for the Faisalabad outfit while Usman Manzoor was the other scorer to ensure two points for their side.
The match between Mecca Floor Mills and ZTBL ended in a stalemate. Both teams took away a point each from the tie.
