DFA Malir takes action against guilty clubs and players

The Karachi DFA Malir held a congress presided over by DFA Malir president Fateh Muhammad Baloch at his office. The congress decided to take action against affiliated clubs and players found guilty of faulty registration, defying suspensions, and other illegal acts. DFA Malir Shahid Taj told journalist Riaz Ahmed all the details of the proceedings:

Adil Sports player Muhammad Ayub s/o Jan Muhammad was banned for 6 months by match commissioner for assaulting referee Abdul Latif Baloch in a KB Challenge Cup match.

Nazir Mohammadan FC (Raziqabad) was suspended for 6 months for playing bogus players Saddar Uddin s/o Eidan, Muhammad Ali s/o Wahid Bakhsh, Imtiaz s/o Mir Muhammad, Sikandar Ali s/o Qalandar Bakhsh, Wajid Ali s/o Abdul Ghani, and Nazir Ahmed Sheikh s/o Mungo Sheikh. The said players were also banned for 1 year.

Ismail Memorial FC secretary Ghulam Rasool Baloch was suspended for 1 month and fined Rs 2,000 for tampering with District player cards. The suspension shall be maintained even if the fine is paid in full on time.

Salaar Welfare Centre FC chairman Iqbal Baloch, and Gul Baloch FC coach Hamza Baloch were both suspended for 1 month and fined Rs 2,000 each for using the wrong players in their respective teams for an official match.

Pir Bakhsh Baloch FC was suspended for 3 months for assaulting referee Saleem Raja in a match of the Founders of Baloch Mujahid Football Cup.

The All-Karachi Founders of Baloch Mujahid Football Cup saw the results of 2 matches at Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi. Young Azizabad (DFA Central) beat Jalla Murad (Malir) 3-0 on penalties after 0-0 draw at end of match. Muhammadi Sports (Malir) beat Khaskheli Sports (Lyari) 1-0 thanks to Altaf Hussain’s 40th minute strike. Winning sides went through to next round. Referees were Iqrar Hussain, Saleem Raja, Ch. Sarfraz, while match commissioner was Najeeb Ahmed Baloch.
