Ali Bahar Brohi, SFA member from Jacobabad

The newly elected member of Sindh FA General Council and renowned football promoter from Jacobabad, Ali Bahar Brohi, has stated that football in Sindh will be revolutionised under the new SFA Presidency of Syed Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari. Football shall be given back its lost prestige throughout Sindh in this new era, Ali Bahar added.

Ali Bahar stated that the new SFA President Khadim Ali Shah, who currently also holds the Senior Vice President posts in both the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and South Asian Football Federation (SAFF), is determined to fulfill all promises made to uplift and improve football at all levels not just in Sindh, but also in rest of Pakistan. A yearly calender for planned football activities will be released and followed with full vigour to make sure regular competitive football is played across the province the whole year.

Ali Bahar also stated that concrete steps will be taken for promoting and encouraging club football, as well as giving an exclusive focus on youth development to improve and harness the raw talent across Sindh from junior to senior levels based purely on merit. The PFF has provided AFC AID-27 coaches to take charge of giving youth football a real edge. District championships, Inter-district championships, club championships, and general leagues will be organised and maintained each year from now on.

The new SFA President has directed that local referees and match commissioners be also encouraged and trained through various PFF-organised courses allotted to Sindh. All selections are to be based on merit and transparency.

Ali Bahar Brohi stated that Khadim Ali Shah has full confidence of all elected Sindh FA officials incl. Vice President Muhammad Iqbal (Mirpur Khas), Azam Khan (Hyderabad), Mir Yaqoob Ali Shah) (Sukkur), Fateh Muhammad Baloch (Malir, Karachi) as well as the SFA General Council members, club officials, and football lovers. It is hoped that this new era under Khadim Ali Shah will give Sindhi football the prosperity it deserves and craves for.
