The Mohsen Gilani Youth Development Football Academy will celebrate its 1st anniversary by organising a friendly game between Mohsen Gilani Whites and Mohsin Gilani Blues teams at Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground Garden West, Karachi at 3 PM on 27 February 2011. The academy is named after FIFA regional officer Mohsen Gilani.
The chief guest for the occasion will be MPA from Sindh Assembly, Mir Ghulam Muhammad Khan Shahliani. According to academy secretary Noorul Abidin, the Mohsen Gilani Youth Development Football Academy boasts former internationals Zafar Iqbal, Imtiaz Butt, Khalid Nawaz, Sohail Pervaiz, and Zafar Baig as coaches in charge of young players learning the game as they progress. Bashir Ahmed Baloch is the manager of the academy.
