At Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi, Shazad Mohammadan (Malir) edged past Mauripur Baloch 3-2 in Group ‘B’, while Karachi United held Young Ansari 2-2 in Group ‘A’. At Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground Garden West, two more Group ‘B’ games saw Aga Khan Gymkhana held 0-0 by Sindh Balochistan (Gulshan-e-Iqbal) while Kalri Star (Lyari) beat National Afridi (Baldia Town) 2-0.

Goals from Muhammad Hussain (18′), Asghar Baloch (19′), and Akhtar Baloch (48′) helped Shazad Mohammadan take a comfortable 3-0 lead by the second half. However, Mauripur Baloch staged a superb fight back under inspiration of captain Sameer Jahangir as he scored twice (54′ and 92′) before the final whistle to give his side a respectable scoreline against the former KFL winners. The result left Shazad Mohammedan and Mauripur Baloch in 2nd place (13 points from 7 games) and 3rd (12 points from 7 games) respectively in Group ‘B’.

KFL organisers Karachi United had star Rehan Munir to thank as they held a strong Young Ansari side 2-2 at the final whistle. Rehan gave KUFC an early lead on 5 minutes but Rasheed Pira equalised for Young Ansari in 33rd minute. Young Ansari maestro Hameed Afridi gave his side a 2-1 lead in 54th minute but Rehan Munir struck late to tie the scores 2-2 in 82nd minute. The exciting encounter between the two strong Group ‘A’ rivals finished all square 2-2 at the final whistle. Rehan Munir is now on 7 goals in the KFL 2010-11 campaign while Hameed Afridi remains top scorer with 8 goals to his name. Both sides are tied on 13 points after 6 games each but Karachi United lie in 2nd place while Young Ansari lie 3rd due to goal difference in Group ‘A’.

Kalri Star stunned National Afridi with two late goals through Mubashir Baloch (81′) and Asif Baloch (91′) to grab all three points with a 2-0 win after the match was seemingly headed to be scoreless. Kalri Star lie in 4th place with 11 points from 7 games while National Afridi lie 7th with 10 points from 7 games in Group ‘B’. Aga Khan Gymkhana and Sindh Balochistan could only play out a dull 0-0 draw as both sides failed to convert their chances. AKG and Sindh Balochistan both have 11 points each from 7 and 8 games to lie in 5th and 6th place respectively in Group ‘B’.
