KPT keeper Ehsan restricts KRL to 1-0 win : HBL hit last ditch equalizer

Lahore, 22 Dec: SSGC and HBL, two teams fighting for survival and still in danger of relegation, gathered vital points in Pakistan Premier Football League 2010. SSGC drew 0-0 with PEL at KPT – Benazir Sports Complex, West Wharf Road, Kharadar, Karachi while HBL struck last-ditch goal to draw 2-2 with PAF at Peoples Sports Complex, Mauripur Road, Lyari Town. Meanwhile, KPT missed many chances and suffered 0-1 defeat at the hands of KRL at KPT – Benazir Sports Complex, West Wharf Road, Kharadar, Karachi.

The match between two outfits who clinched the National Champions once in 80s, saw HBL snatching late goal to make it 2-2 against PAF. Kila Saif Ullah-born Nizam Uddin slammed both goals in the 13th and 82nd minute while in the same fashion Zakir Lashari replied with two goals in the 24th and 88th minute.

They might have scored more goals in the second session but twice Rizwan Asif and once Yasir Afridi, Kalim Ullah saw their chances were blocked by Ehsan, second choice keeper to Muhammad Sajid.
