2010 PFF League: Lahore to host PTV- Police super league clash

Lahore, 6 Dec: Pakistan Television and Pakistan Police announced their football team for the Super League of PFF League – Departmental Leg. The match between the two top outfits will be played at Garhi Shahue’s Railway Stadium, Lahore on Tuesday, 7 December 2010 (2 PM).

PTV have won the event in 2006 while Police were unsuccessful in six attempts. PTV entered the Super League by gaining seven points in Group-B at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad while Police moved into the last four by clinching Pakistan Steel-based Group-A with three straight wins.

The Champion of departmental Leg will enter Pakistan Premier Football League 2011 and face club event champion, replacing one of the two relegated team who finished 15th and 16th berth in PPFL 2010. The Winner of Department Leg will face Winner of Club Leg on 20 December 2010 Monday at 2.30 PM to decide overall champion of PFF League.
