Mian Rizwan urges PEL, NBP to observe Fair Play

Lahore, 18 October: Model Town Football Academy (MTFA)’s President and Match Commissioner of Pakistan Premier Football League 2010 Mian Rizwan Ali had asked the management of National Bank of Pakistan and Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) to keep discipline during the Tuesday, 18 October match at MTFA Ground, Model Town C & D Block, Lahore.

“Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)’s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat is great exponent of Fair Play and Sportsmanship and he is also Pakistani representative in the FIFA/AFC Disciplinary Committee, we need to cherish and nurture the values of sporting spirit and work tirelessly to keep up the momentum. Fair play is essential to our sport and to everyone involved in it. Myself, on behalf of all PPFL Technical Officials, has appealed to players, referees, fans and officials throughout Pakistan to help praise and promote the spirit of fair play,” said Rizwan during Monday evening Manager’s Meeting.

The managers of both teams – Tahir Maqsood (PEL), Qamar Ali (NBP)- attended the Meet which was held to discuss various technical matters such as Team Line Up, Jersey Numbers, Colors/ Reserve Colors used for the Match. Rizwan also asked home team (PEL) for installation of Scoreboard, Ground Clock, Medical Facilities, Ball boys, Ambulance, Stretchers and Media Gallery by home team etc.
