Bay View Academy (O-Levels) stunned hosts Foundation Public School team of new coach Arshad Jamal in the second semi-final of FPS Karachi Inter-School Football Tournament (O-Levels) on penalties at KPT Stadium in Kharadar area.
The match, supervised by referee Muhammad Rashid, finished 1-1 at normal time with a 10th minute goal from Gul Muhammad before an unfortunate own goal in dying minutes from Shahzore made the game go straight to tie-breaker penalties. Bay View then overcame FPS 5-4 to qualify for the final where they will play Habib Public School on Monday 1st November.
Earlier Habib Public School overcame City School PAF Chapter in first semi-final according to chief organiser Master Murad. Monday will also witness the final of the A-Levels tournament between Lyceum School and Nixor College.
