FIFA Chief assures PFF full support on horrendous flood

FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter has written to his Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Mr Makhdoom Syed Saleh Hayat to express solidarity and offer support after floods devastated the country.

Over 2,000 people were killed and in excess of 700,000 homes were damaged by the floods, which began following heavy monsoon rain last month. The PFF headquarters in Lahore were unaffected by the tragedy, which Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani revealed had left over 20 million people homeless.
